Probably the cutest couple of all time! This session was in honor of their 1 year anniversary and we had a blast. We took these photos in the stunning Snow Canyon State Park located in Southern Utah. These two escaped the cold weather of Provo for the weekend and enjoyed some time celebrating one year of marriage in sunny Saint George! They are so fun to be with and I am in love with how these photos turned out. Congrats to Will and Cynthia!!
AUSTIN & KATTIE ENGAGEMENTS
These two are seriously my favorite. I absolutely loved this session with them in Kolob Canyon. The location and company was AMAZING.
Their love story is pretty stellar. Kattie was a volunteer in a Special Needs Program where she spent time with some amazing people. She also would occasionally find herself speaking in church with this group. Austin was in a meeting one day, thanks to the help of his little sister, and he heard Kattie speak. He was immediately drawn to her and inspired by her to shape up. They didn’t meet that day but months down the road when they did he told her that it was because of her testimony and example he decided to turn his life around and go back to church. WOW. They both served LDS missions and after returning started dating. A quick courtship led to getting engaged in GUATEMALA next to a chicken bus (my favorite detail). They have been headed towards the temple ever since that day and in 9 days they will seal the deal! I seriously love their story and loved even more listening to them tell me about it. They both have completely different timelines of when things happened and so it was hilarious watching them relive it all. They are a fun pair. This session in the canyon was all laughs, kisses an snuggles.
CAN’T WAIT FOR THE BIG DAY!! Also let me add that Kattie has been an absolute angel and has posted like one billion of my photos with the KINDEST WORDS EVER attached to them. I seriously have been so grateful and nothing makes a photographer more happy then when a client/friend enjoys the work and shares it with their loved ones. Seriously thank you Kattie.
Check out this romantic session and feel the love these two share.
Hunter & Melodie Engagements
Hunter and Melodie started out as just friends but that didn’t last long! They make the cutest couple and I am honored to be their wedding photographer. The love they have for each other radiates and you can’t help but smile when you are with them. The wedding is coming up fast and I cannot wait!
McAllister Family
The McAllister family was amazing to be with. They were visiting family here in Utah all the way from Texas. The kids were to die for adorable. They would call me Miss Haley and it made my heart pitter patter. I am so glad that they wanted to shoot in Snow Canyon State Park because it is one of my favorite places! Scroll down for some yummy photos of a perfect family!!
Called to Serve
This was one of the most amazing experiences as a photographer. These boys all attended Pine View High School in St. George, Utah and are all preparing to leave or have already left to serve full time LDS missions all across the country and world. My heart was so full this night. As full time LDS missionaries they will spend the next two years serving, teaching and testifying of Christ. As a returned myself I know that what they are embarking to do will be difficult but the most incredible experience. My mission has shaped my life and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord. Want to learn more? Visit mormon.org or lds.org. Or ask me:)
I am so excited for this group of amazing young men. They will do great things!
Kenzie Senior 2017
Kenzie is one of my favorite people! I was so so so happy when she asked me to take her senior photos. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Kenzie is preparing to serve an LDS mission and she will be amazing! I am so excited for her and her bright bright future.
California Spring Break 2017
So this is my personal life and not business but those basically go hand in hand anyway. This year my husband and I went with my parents and brother on a trip to California. It was such a good time. We spent a day at Universal Studios! We are a hardcore Disneyland family but decided to try something new. It was a lot of fun. I give the frozen butter beer in Hogsmead a 10/10. Since I studied some film-making this last semester it was super interesting to see how Universal Studios does some things! One of my favorite parts of our trip was when we went to the beach and just relaxed. On our way we stopped and bought some fresh fruit from the nicest man. MANGOS MANGOS MANGOS. I served an LDS mission in Nicaragua and mangos are my jam. They were so good. The view was almost as amazing as the fresh fruit. I definitely didn’t take enough pictures but here are a few from this awesome trip!
Pine View Senior Ball 2017
Brace yourself for some good looking high-schoolers. This group was a blast and such troopers trekking through field of mud and cow droppings. AH! It was a little chaotic but totally worked out. These boys are my brothers best friends and it was a treat to take these photos. I mean look how fun they are! So excited for these seniors moving on to great things! Go Pine View!
Adrian & Rilee : Wedding Day
This was such a beautiful ceremony at a beautiful location with a beautiful couple. I was lucky enough to assist Deborah Outz at this ceremony and I learned a lot. I always learn when I am with Deb, she is the best! Check out @funnyfacephotobooth on Instagram to see the COOLEST photo booth that they designed and are selling. It is perfect for wedding receptions! If you are planning a wedding or you are a photographer and want to add a game changer to your business, look at their photo booths. They have been working so hard on designing this booth and it has so many features. It is hand crafted, lightweight and portable, prints out your photos on the spot, has a camera mount that is adaptable to so many other things like video lights, microphones, GoPros, etc.. I could go on and on. Seriously, its the coolest. Deborah and her husband Mike at FunnyFacePhoto.com are such great inspirations and examples to me. Deborah has been such a help to me as I started my business last year. So… CHECK THEM OUT! Anyway, this wedding was fantastic. Loved every minute.
Mckenzie Senior 2017
Mckenzie was the first senior shoot of this year and it was so much fun! Mckenzie is graduating from Desert Hills High School and is headed to Dixie State this fall. She is hoping to do nursing and one day work in Labor and Delivery. She says she just wants to be around babies! Some of her hobbies now are playing the guitar, doing graphic design, shopping, watching movies and working! She likes anything chocolate, clothes and being creative. Sounds like my kind of girl! She dislikes snakes and being late. Same. She says that her most favorite part about high school is that it is almost over haha! All jokes aside she said that she enjoyed challenging herself and trying new things. She excited about college and I am looking forward to see all that she does. Congrats Mckenzie!!
